- I want to start by saying I weigh 330lbs. This bike moves me at a solid 26mph throttle only. I can get up to 28mph with the lightest of pedaling. Definitely a solid bike. I’ve dumped it a couple times due to my own carelessness, but the bike held up each time no major damage just a light scuff to the derailleur guard and pedal. Both easy fixes if I cared enough to do so. I think the scares give the bike character. I live in New Hampshire and this is my daily driver, snow or shine. I have just over 700 miles on it and can’t wait to make it to the 1,000 mile club. I do recommend buying a new tail light as the one it came with is cumbersome to deal with. I purchased one for $30 on Amazon and it has an alarm system and directional lights.
- I got my Brawn about 3 weeks ago. The assembly was pretty simple and straight forward. This bike is a first for me. My first fat tire bike and my first e-bike and the combination of the 2 capabilities is awesome. I got the bike mostly for off road biking but I ride it on the road to get the 2 or 3 Mountain Biking areas not to far from my house. This thing eats up roots, rocks and is very solid in descents. The hydraulic seat post is very nice feature if you do the type of riding I do where dropping the seat without having to get off right before you go down a steep hill. The Front Shock is awesome and I have it adjusted to my perfect feel as well and the battery life really seems to hold up even with all the hill climbing I do. I am a bigger guy almost 6'2" and 220 lbs. I have been Mountain biking for over 30 years and the Fat Tire Pedal Assist combination makes me hope I have another 30 in me. The other thing that is great about the thumb throttle is that you can maintain velocity in spots where it is tough to pedal (rocks pretruding) or in areas of tight brush where on a normal bike you would have to pedal and like hit a rock with your crank or cut up your legs because of thorns, etc. You still have to work Mountain Biking on this bike and you can also work as hard as want to. If you want to be an endurance hero go for it but this gives me a great workout without being totally exhausted. I live at the top of a hill and it always stunk having to do that last final climb at the end of the ride.I did have the issue mentioned in other reviews with the light turning on automatically but after I reset the cables the light stays off when I want it off. The one issue I have had so far is that I got a flat on the rear tire. I was able to figure it out after sending an email to support, they (Lois) sent me a specific video on taking the rear tire off. In hindsight now that was a great experience as I now know how to do this going forward.So far so good with this bike. Solid, fast, nimble. It is heavy make not mistake but it also feels solid. Support has been great from Hey Bike so if you are hesitating at all to make the purchase I say go for it. Have Fun !I watched alot of the reviews. I saw some complaints about your thumb hitting the hydraulic seat post level, I have not had any issues with that. The same guy said the hydraulic seat post was over rated to which I say that guy was clearly not a Mountain Biker. The up and down of the seat post is important for safety on descents and raising it with a push of a lever helps with power on ascents or just street riding.
- I have had my Brawn bike for about 3 month's now and I am loving it...does everything I put it through. I am surprised by the power it has and the distance It can go on a charge. If your thinking about getting one, do it!
- I got the Brawn from my family and its my sole mode of transportation. It came very well packaged and mostly assembled and my part of the assembly was very easy. The build quality is amazingly good as is the performance. Before purchasing, I researched local electric bikes for over a month and I think my heybike Brawn is twice the value at half the price of what is available where I'm living. Currently, I have about 500 miles on it within a month and have had zero mechanical failures. I opted for the fenders and cargo rack and both are excellent quality and value. The motor is quiet and smooth and the big tires smooth out potholes and road obstacles. I'm 6'1" tall and weigh 220 lbs plus whatever I'm wearing and typically a backpack as well. Fits me perfectly for my size and weight.. After downloading the app and connecting my phone to the bike and unlocking personal settings, I've ridden as fast as 33.5 mph on pavement with about 280 pounds, including myself. The Brawn will scoot, top speed unlock is 39 mph. I'm satisfied with everything thus far.

- Wanted a bike that I could enjoy at 6' that my wife could easily ride at 5'2" It's absolutely perfect for us. We've had a blast taking it to the beach and riding in the mountains in North Carolina. So far we haven't had any range anxiety with plenty of juice still available. Rode Cade's Cove for 24 miles and 1300 feet of elevation change and still had two bars left.
